Kriyam DocForensics v2

AsyncSync for images

Check a document for signs of tampering, and score how far to trust it.

Overview

Post a document and get back a check that is still running. The pipeline examines file metadata, the image itself, and the text it can read, then scores the document 0-100 and routes it to accept, reject or review. By default the work outlives the request: the response carries status: "uploaded" and no verdict, and the result is delivered to your webhook. For an image you can instead send response_mode=sync and get the finished check back in the response itself.

  • Register a webhook on the key before calling this. With the default response_mode=webhook the result is delivered there when it's ready; polling the read endpoint is a reconciliation backstop, not the normal path.
  • response_mode=sync holds the request open until the check finishes and returns it complete — images only, since a PDF can take minutes. No webhook is sent for a sync call: the response already carries the result.
  • trust_score is null until the check finishes. route is the skill evaluator's own three-way outcome and stays null when no skill matched the document — that is not a failure, and the score-against-thresholds verdict still applies.
  • A check that fails is never charged: credits stays 0.
